We plan to take an inside passage behind Bribie Island and cross the bar at Caloundra. we will overnite at Noosa Heads and then head further north to the Wide Bay bar, before exploring the Great Sandy Strait. Latest update: Here are some photos of Sirocco before she was assembled. She arrived from Bremerhaven, Germany onboard a vehicle carrier called the ‘Pearl Ace’ – a journey which took about 12 weeks. I must admit I did not see her arrival as we were in Europe at the time, but when I first saw her, she was already masted and instrumented. I’ve marked Bremerhaven on the map.
